Chapter 7---Lively He walks back out into the opened up area, his new lab coat inches from touching the ground. He looks at his arm, which had stopped bleeding, leaving his coat free of stains. He walks to the left back near the cafe he saw before. He suddenly hears heavy footsteps coming from the room he was just in. "Not again..." He begins to run. The footsteps get closer and finally the door opens. A grey purple creature bursts out of the room and begins to sprint towards Lively. He turns around for a moment, only to see a grey blur sprinting towards him. His run turns into a full sprint for his life. His heart beating a lot faster than it should be. He begins to run out of breath but he trips on the back of his lab coat. "crap..." he mumbles as he falls to the ground. His head hits the ground hard, the place of impact begins to bleed. He tries to stand up but the creature grabs his arms and pins them to the ground. “That was one hell of a sprint, human.” Lively tries to free his arms but they won’t move. “So human… what is your name? No one has beaten Nyx before. No one human that is." "Why should I tell you?" Lively replies, still struggling. "Here... I'll tell you mine. It's NC... or that's what people call me." "..." "Well? You gonna tell me or not?" "It's Lively." "Perfect now I can tell Nyx who beat her." "Wait ,who is Nyx?" "Unimportant." He grabs Lively by the throat and pushes him against the wall. Lively holds NC's arm and attempts to push it away. "You sure are persistent." NC says. Lively uses the last of his strength to push his arm away and he falls to the floor. He breathes heavily, scrambles to his feet and shoves the top half of it into NC's leg. NC roars in pain and tries to pull it out, but it slips away from his paws every time he tries. Lively runs away, not looking back.
