I recently built a PC for Windows 3.1 and 95. For kicks and giggles, I decided to see if it could load a Scratch 3.0 project. Turns out Forkphorus is _really_ well-optimised! My old Flying Cat remix runs a little slow (~14 fps), but it is playable. Now, I just need to get Half-Life 3 working. Update: Samueldora loved this! Update II: Jonathan50 loved this! Update III: The Pentium III died in the middle of a silly experiment with RWEverything. I got a replacement CPU; fingers crossed that it works. Update IV: The new CPU works.
System specs: Intel Pentium III "Coppermine" 866 ]since downgraded to a PIII 800EB] Riva TNT2 M64 [since upgraded to a regular TNT2] 256 MiB Kingston PC133 CL2 120 GB IDE HDD Windows XP SP3 I used the Serpent Web browser, available here: o.rthost.win/basilisk Look for the latest build labeled "ia32". It is probably the most up-to-date Web browser that will run on a processor without SSE2; it will run actual Scratch 3.0 with enough RAM and a newer video card. Note: I do not own the Pentium III logo.
