I don’t know what it was. Just the fresh smell of waffles always wakes me up. Fang gave me the slightest greeting. I grab Fang, “Hey Fang, I’ll get you some breakfast too. You're probably hungry.” I said with a smile. Fang is different from other cats. I just know it from a matter of fact. I live with my horrible Aunt. She treats me and Fang like we aren’t anything special. As I walk from my room, (I wouldn’t call it a room. I live under the stairs.) I walk over to the kitchen where I see my Aunt and her husband. “Alexander, clean the dishes and make yourself some dinner. If you don’t clean this place in thirty minutes you are NOT going to Hogwarts. Understand?” My Aunt said. I nodded and proceeded to clean up. I didn’t do anything. I get in trouble for existing. I know Fang would scratch her, but if that happened she would probably bring Fang to the shelter. Once I finished cleaning I said, “Mam, I finished cleaning. And I made myself breakfast.” Giving a piece of cat food to Fang. My Aunt began to inspect the room. “Ugh, it’s not the best. But I’ll make an exception! JUST THIS ONCE! Pete! Go ahead and drive the kid to the train!” [At the train station] “Bye, kid. Have a great time at Hogwarts. I’m going to be honest, your aunt’s behavior is kind of crazy. But I’m hoping you can have fun at Hogwarts.” Pete said with a smile. I liked Pete. He would always be the one to make me food if I couldn’t make myself food. And he never was mean. He waved. And I also saw a tear in his eye. I couldn’t help but to wave back. And I walked into the train. And to my surprise it wasn’t the worst! I walked into the train seeing lots of compartments. I thought this could be the moment I make a friend. I walked into one of the compartments. With a pretty girl with blonde hair inside. She smiled but seemed nervous. I didn’t want to startle her. “Umm, Hello. My name is Laney.” She said delicately. “And I’m Alexander? Alexander Lennox.” “It’s nice to meet you, Alexander.
