When he arrived gohan instantly sensed the insane amount of ki this being possessed and went to the area that he was sensing the ki from. Gohan saw black and they started fighting right away. gohan saw how weak ssjr goku black was compared to his potential unleashed form so he transformed into beast gohan. Gohan badly wounded black but black managed to escape with the dna. when black got to his timeline he called zamasu then proceeded to inject zamasu with this new found dna he collected zamasu passed out immediately into a deep slumber. Black waited for months and months and in doing so, gohan black was born.
