Strawberries is large amounts. Chapter 10---Kat The three of them sprint into the caves, dodging crystals and hoping for the best. Lively holds the back of his lab coat like a dress so he doesn't trip and fall again, this time would probably be fatal. The 5 slime hounds chase after them, interested in killing, not infecting the group. They pass yet another human, who just stares at them as they run by. The hounds don't look very interested in him and continue the chase. They pass the safe zone in their haste, completely forgetting that it would protect them. They run past the storage room, an odd, purple outlined Jammer. It stares at them as they run past. They ran to the other side of the cave, the crystals slowly depleting, and into a hallway leading to a large reception-like room. "Get into a locker," Landon hisses. Kat and Lively quickly and quietly enter a locker. Landon quickly follows. They watch as the slime hounds run past. They wait a few seconds before Landon exits his locker. "Stay in 'til I give you the clear. " He takes off his backpack and unzips it slowly. After a few moments, he pauses. "Uh oh..." He yells for help for 2 seconds, then everything is quiet. Lively and Kat wait a minute before exiting. When they get out, all they see is his backpack on the floor. The locker he was hiding in is splattered with blood, as well as the walls. Kat falls to her knees, her eyes tearing. "Damn it..." She picks up the backpack. She looks at it and hands it to Lively. "You can have it. I don't want it." Lively looks at it and puts it on his back. He helps Kat up. "Come on. We need to keep going. We can't get caught," Lively says, helping her up. They begin to walk away from the blood splattered wall and lockers, the Jammer watching them as they do.
