RING! RING! RING! My alarm clock goes off. I slap it quickly before it wakes up my friends. I sneak out and I put on my slytherin robes and brush my hair and teeth quickly. I walk down the stairs and head to the library at 5:45. When i head into the library i head to the mystery section and i go to grab a book while i wait for Jonah. I grab the book i want and sit down at an open table. Then i hear someone say “id think you would have forgotten” i look up and see Jonah wearing his gryffindor robes and smiling. “Wow you thought i cared? I’m only here for the book” i say sarcastically. Jonah laughs and sits down next to me. “So you’ve read books by Lucy Evans?” He asks talking about little whisper the book i was trying to get yesterday when we met. “Definitely! She’s my favorite author!” I exclaim “same!” He cheers. i blush then smile. "your a different potter" i say. "is that bad?" he asks half joking. "not really but my parents and your parents are enemies so i dont think they would absolutely love us being friends" i joke. his smile droops and he looks down at the ground. "oh no! im so sorry i forgot!" i yell. jonahs parents were lily and james potter who had died a couple of years ago. "no its fine i understand" "its just.. today is my parents anniversary so im just emotional." he said sadly. "its okay i understand. and i get what your going through my mom died when i was little so its hard without her so if you need anyone to talk to you can talk to me" i say reassuring. "thanks" he smiles and we head to class.
