Edit: how do you spell remembrance Art by @ItzVivian_ Don't steal my art please :P Shared on 11/11/23 for anyone who’s in a different time zone I drew a thing It’s to celebrate Remembrance. Dunno if you Americans have it. You probably do though. For those of you wondering why I drew this and why there’s so many poppies, remembrance day (11/11/—) is basically the day in which you remember the people who fought in wars. After the First World War, poppies grew on a field where people had fought, so that symbolises remembrance. I know that purple poppies represent the animals that fought and white poppies represent both, so I did the background in purple as well (I couldn't make white work.)
