EDIT: PLEASE BRO I FORGOT TO ADD A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT-- I'm going to just write it right here. :') I am planning on splitting CCF into "books". For example, this book of CCF will probably end at chapter 40-45, possibly more or less. I feel it would help divide the story up better. I'll have to think of a name for book 1. Feel free to put suggestions in the comments. ^^ For the past while, i've had things mentally planned out for CCF, projects, etc. but i'm just really bad at going through with them. i'm not good at staying on task a lot. But i've finally decided i'm actually gonna do stuff!! :"D anYWAYS. First off -- The world of CCF, it's characters, and powers. I'm going to try and to create a project or two explaining how things work, like the code, what's normal/not normal, how the powers generally work (nothing spoilery, though ;))), a map of the territory, and REFERENCE SHEETS FOR THE CHARACTERS!! I'm planning on either buying or getting a drawing tablet for Christmas. This will be a huge advantage to me, because 1. It would connect to my newer, faster computer 2. I can draw better when i'm using my hand, as if i'm drawing in a sketchbook. 3. MEDIBANG WILL BE EASIER NOW MUWAHAHAHAHA This also means CCF chapters will be out more often :> Speaking of which -- sorry that i haven't been regularly getting chapters out as i used to. School kinda messes with my schedule, and i'm always so tired after a school day that it's difficult to work on CCF. I also have the animation project i mentioned in the past. To kind of "start over" again, i'm going to set world-building things in stone to provide more structure. I started CCF out with nothing but a concept in my head. I didn't consider planning at all to be honest lol. For starters, Archskip wasn't even Ferretpaw and Cedarpaw's uncle when i made the first chapter lol :'D He was just some emo guy. I also didn't have the characters very well-written yet. Ferretpaw was a happy-go-lucky, goofy and sometimes stupid child who's only thoughts were "EAT SLEEP BREATHE THE AIR LOOK AT THE BIRD SOCIALIZE EAT REPEAT". Cedarpaw was scared of everything for no reason, a bit of an "uwu :3c" (ehjDVE that hurt to type) baby or whatever. Archskip was like...every emo/Batman tragic backstory trope shoved into one character, with no real reason to his behavior. Apple-ear was this perfect saint who never got angry, another ":3c" flawless kind of cat. Everything was cringe. But everyone developed into something else -- real characters. Motivation behind their actions, their own thoughts and ways of processing, positive and negative traits. They /feel/ real. I'm all for chaos, but this was too much -- too scattered, too many directions i wanted things to go in. So i'm setting better structure and keeping the main plot and ideas together. Okay i'm done now lol. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk :'DD
