St. Chickolas origin-st.Chickalos is a barn owl who was raised by chickens (hence the name). His upbringing with lots of younger siblings led him to wish to bring gifts and joy to all the good little chicks. Like the human Santa, st Chickolas also has a naughty/nice list;if one is nice they get either a dead small animal or some fruit/whatever they like to eat, and if one is naughty they are given owl pellets.
