(13+ for language) Two years on this account, huh? I was going to write something really corny for this, but I can't think of anything. In an attempt to sanction this, I'm going to release a progression of my artwork, from the VERY start of my scratch career (with my older account) until today. Yes, that includes things for projects that haven't been released yet. Yes, this will only include things I myself found to be interesting from my past. Whine about it. I'm too lazy to do more than just import screenshots for most of them, so they don't look the greatest (they wouldn't have looked better otherwise, but still). -- I apologize in advance, there's a lot to sift through 1. Scratch cat 2. I do not know what this is. 3. First "animation" I made. I forgot what its importance was. 4. Numbers? I honestly don't know. 5. Terraria "animation" that I was proud of at the time. Even now, it's honestly not the worst thing ever 6. Undertale thing or something, I forgot. It was a phase I never grew out of. 7. My first original character, presently named Richard Perez (or "Rick" for short). Going to iterate on it much more later down the line. 8. First attempt at pixel art, I think. I think it's meant to be a dragon's eye or something? The circles on top look out of place. 9. Second attempt. Why on earth does the body look like that. 10. Third attempt. This one honestly isn't horrible - I think I got the quote from a shirt my dad has. 11. First slide of an "animation." It's a guy. 12. Second slide of an "animation." It's a wooden board. Honestly, this guy's silly. I might revisit him later. 13. First iteration of Steam Scream... luckily, he does NOT look like this now. 14. "hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia" is the fear of long words. And for whatever reason I had a makeshift watermark in the bottom right corner? 15. I think the joke of this "animation" was that the world is flat? I don't know, but that was the punchline. 16. For whatever reason, this was based on "the quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog." Your guess is as good as mine. 17. I forgot Among Us was a real game. 18. oh my (This was apparently a redesign of the first OC) 19. Another garbage heap Among Us "animation" with a different OC design? When was it changed??? 20. DUDE WHEN THE HELL DO I CHANGE DESIGNS 21. This is another EXTREMELY early iteration of a Heat boss. This one was Fun-House Ferney, though, like before, this design was changed drastically. The fundamental pose is the same, though. 22. Oh, I remember this! This was for a chapter summary of "The Odyssey" in 6th grade. 23. Another pixel art - I think this was for a game I never finished? 24. An actual OC redesign that was announced. Whoah. 25. An episode of a series I intended to continue but did not. Maybe I'll try it again? Maybe not. Probably not. 26. Terraria art, or something. It's the dark artist armor set next to a flameburst sentry. 27. ok 28. I can't do it justice myself, just watch the original... 29. Same deal with the previous slide. 30. In school that day, we dressed up as people from the feudal time period. I think that's why I did this. 31. I don't know anymore, man 32. Once again, a game that never came to fruition. How surprising. This art in particular was based on ' OC 33. Another dumpster-fire thing relating to among us. I think. 34. First iteration of my second OC, who is presently named Jared Wilson. It's also going to be iterated. He keeps his stuck-up glare throughout, though. 35. I think this was for a Friday Night Funkin' mod I wanted to make but never did. I finished all the songs, just was too lazy to animate. 36. Yet another iteration of Rick, this time in my style at that time. 37. Another terraria-related work of art. If I remember right, I drew this on paper first then traced it digitally. 38. Dayum, I pretty much have all the assets to make that fnf mod into a reality. Womp womp, I guess. 39. Another animation. I took the audio from an adsfmovie, I think. 40. Who is this guy 41. A remade style for the fnf mod I never made. 42. Another art style change, with Rick as the reference character. 43. Aww, this guy's kind of cute! The punchline of this one was that the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs actually was just excited to see them 44. How come Jared's eyes look different now 45. "This Hurt" was an album I made before I got better at music and junk. It's not very good. 46. Wowee, another game that was charred on the back burner. This one I actually have interest in finishing at one point or another, but I'm not sure if I will. 47. Two new OCs. They were originally named Dox (back) and Damon (front), but presently they're named Harry Brown and Oliver Johnson (goes by Ollie) respectively. 48. What the heck is this. Why is it called a "FUN value." That's the thing from Undertale. What was I making. cont'd in notes and credits.
Now it's art from this account. 49. First iteration of yet another OC, Joseph Hill. This one is changed in the future (per usual), though I'm not sure I drew any art of him digitally. (Future reference, don't make animation refs this bad, especially if you're never going to use them.) 50. Another iteration of Ollie. I made him look more bored and tired, though currently he's much more lively and upbeat. He's also Australian now. 51. Another iteration of Joey. I will not elaborate further so I don't get in trouble. This is about what his current design is, only less detailed. 52. 2025 is no longer the release year of Heat, it's going to be much farther off. Can't possibly finish it without 100-hour work weeks, which I don't want to do since I'm still in school. 53. Something I made when I was bored making MM a while back. 54. "MM is a story-based game. The likes of which you've never seen before, and never will again." 55. Profile picture style that I've been using for most of the lifespan of this account. You've probably seen it if you've been on my account for more than one hour. 56. Another game I didn't finish. This is one of the ones I also plan on finishing, though outside of Scratch. Scratch would whine about it. 57. God, I forgot about this. This was for that " . o . " profile picture trend a while back. 58. Another unfinished game draft. I have a lot of these laying around, don't I? Realistically, I could probably actually finish this one in a week or so. Just don't feel like it. 59. "What? What're you doin' 'ere?! I didn't do nothin- Oh, it's just you. Righto, c'me on in, then." 60. The unblurred version of the Droids Don't Die thumbnail. I think it turned out nice. 61. The "Inactivity" project. 62. The Thumbnail I made for this project. Art, am I right??? (There's probably a crap ton of physical art, but that's a fustercluck I don't want to look through) ----- I lied about not thinking of anything, it's mushy junk time... Scratch has been pretty influential in my life for the past few years, and I feel like I'm a better person because of it. I met people who're just as stupid as I am in the best ways (cough @BonnieYeet @reddino2020 @79_Au @Quinco-_- @x-Jacko-x cough), not to mention strengthened my abilities as an artist (hence this project) and musician/composer. Also throughout my time here, bad out of scratch stuff popped up here and there but I was always able to vent to the "people who're just as stupid as I am in the best ways," so thanks for that. Time works in Mysterious ways, doesn't it? -- "Gas Mask" is by Rare Americans. It's about self-recovery and learning to move on from your past mistakes. I chose this song because I learned those things the hard way throughout my life (most notably in the past few years), and Scratch helped to cope.
