I've been gone. For a very long time. I haven't uploaded ANYTHING since I took down my old projects, and I closed comments for a good while. I've been on a "break" since probably before summer, and I think it's finally time to leave. I keep telling myself that I'll come back here and feel that spark again, but I don't think so anymore. What really made Scratch special for me was the amazing group of people I found who shared my interests and accepted me as a friend. A lot of those people have moved on to a new account where I can't find them, or quit. I think we had a really great time together, but a lot of us are moving on, and that's okay. I joined Scratch at a time where I had just moved around a lot and didn't really have any friends irl. It was amazing to feel accepted and joke around with all of you, and I'm VERY thankful for that. I've found an incredible group of friends irl now and the world is feeling a lot more normal, so I think I'm ready to officially move only to YouTube and any other random platform I have that I sort of upload on. I love everyone who made Scratch feel like home and, again, can't even begin to express how grateful I am for this. I know this is a lot to say about a coding website but honestly, the work done here is absolutely incredible and the people are so kind and genuine. I'll most likely still be around every few months or so to check up on anyone who's tried to reach out, but from today, I've officially moved on. Thank you for being here, and thanks a lot to my cousins for introducing me to their little coding site 2 and a half years ago :) ~ Brooke <3
