Cells! is a simple simulation game featuring cells, viruses, and natural selection. LEFT CLICK: Spawn cells at cursor. SPACE: Spawn viruses at cursor. HOVER OVER CELL: View genome. CELLS Cells move to random positions, and take 5 seconds to reproduce. Every 2 seconds they will test to see if they can reproduce, using an amount of ATP (food) explained below. If they crash into a glucose pod, they will eat it. If a cell runs out of ATP it will starve. Cells have 2 genes, and you can access their genome by hovering over them. -Size: Allows cells to go longer without eating glucose, but they require more food to reproduce, and are slower. Signified by the cell being larger/smaller. -Cell Wall Thickness: Decreases chance of viruses penetrating the cell membrane. Signified by the cell wall getting thicker. VIRUSES Viruses move around randomly, and die if they come into contact with a cell. However, that cell becomes infected, and during the next reproduction test it will die, spitting out a massive amount of viruses. Will your cells survive? Maybe. Will the viruses obliterate the entire world? Possibly. Will your CPU survive if the cell population gets too high? Absolutely not.
Entirely me, as usual. :)
