------------------------------SECTION 1------------------------------- - Official voice actors - Congratulations! You've earned a role in the Unwanteds! Now you may be wondering: what happens next? Good question! Let's get right into it! 1A: Scripts When a script is due, you’ll receive a message like this: “Here is the Episode 1 script! https://fake-link-here/ Remember, it’s due by (two weeks from date)! Have a good day/afternoon/night!” The lines will be due in two weeks. It’s highly recommended that you label them, but it’s not a requirement. If you need an extension on the lines, please contact me. Which brings me to our next section… 1B: Infractions If you either… - Fail to complete a script - Refuse to complete a script - Be rude to your fellow cast members - Be rude to the director (me) …then you will receive an infraction. If you do receive an infraction, you will be alerted like so: “Hey! Your lines for (insert character) are overdue, please get them done as soon as possible! https://fake-link-here/ You have received an infraction, please try to refrain from doing this in the future!” “Hey! I’ve noticed that you’ve been a bit mean to (insert voice actor). Please correct your behavior and apologize. You have received an infraction, please try to refrain from doing this in the future!” “I’d like for you to not ______, as it makes me quite upset. Please stop this behavior, you have received an infraction.” If the cast member receives three infractions, their role will be given to their backup. Like baseball, 1, 2, 3 strikes, you’re out! Hopefully we won’t have to worry about that :) 1C: Results The results will be posted in a project titled something like “S1E1 - The Unwanteds -“Artime”. The cast members starring in that episode will be listed in the description. In the future, I’m thinking of making an animated version as well. We’ll see if I have the time to make that. -------------------------—--SECTION 2------------------------------- - Backups - Congrats! You got a backup in The Unwanteds. While it may not seem ideal right now, make no mistake! You could end up playing a part later in the season. 2A: Dropping out If the main voice actor earns three infractions or drops out, then you will be asked if you want to play the role. If not, a recast will be issued and I will voice the part until then (I’m a VA myself). If so, congratulations! You’re now an Unwanteds cast member. 2B: Rules & etiquette That being said, just because you’re not part of the cast doesn’t mean that you’re immune to rules. You still have to follow the rules, although a little modified: - No being rude to past actors - No being rude to the main voice actor - No being rude to other cast members - No being rude to the director (me) If you refuse to do this continuously, your role will be taken away. Be supportive of whoever got the role. I know sometimes you may think “Ugh, I can’t believe this VA got it. I still think that I would be a better choice >:(“. But don’t make people feel bad for doing a good job at voice acting. Your voice was good, just not exactly what I was looking for. 2C: New opportunities Make no mistake, there will be a Season 2 of the Unwanteds, with a bunch of new characters for you to try out for! Now that I know that you’re interested, I’ll invite you to the auditions studio. If you’re a backup, you can audition for S2. Something that may happen before that is a recast. This is a serious situation when I’ve run out of backups for a character. This might be a great opportunity to earn a role in the Unwanteds. Unfortunately, this is an extremely rare situation, and I’m not counting on it to happen often. Backups, good luck with your future endeavors, and maybe think about tuning into the audiobook if you’re interested? Anyways, that about covers everything! Thank you for reading, and as always, have a great day/afternoon/night!
