Thanks to saturdaycat for hosting this MAP and for letting me in! Ugh, Mapleshade looks weird because her black patches are sort of blending in with the dark background. So... Explanation! Mapleshade shows up to Crookedpaw, "here we are", and tells him he has to stick with his promise. "Don't turn away". Part of Mapleshade is happy she's corrupting a young cat, but part of her, which is like the cat she used to be, is horrified by what she's become and is sad because of her kits dying and all that tragedy. Then it shows the Dark Forest, "built this town." I guess the Dark Forest isn't a town... but this is just an interpretation.
