Meet Kerberos ("demon of the pit"), a genderless Nuotoceneri ("swimming ashes"), doomed to live forever. In other words, this is what happens when a flying creature drowns on Midwinter's Day on a Leap Year. An eel-like shape with deep-set crosses instead of eyes that give off sparks, a split, powerful tail, weak, translucent, dragonfly wings and ribs bursting through its sides. Its mouth is sharp yet covered in slime, used to torture anything in reach. Though formed in the murk of the deeps, it is but a ghost and searches for life in water, air or ground.
