When Draco started hanging out with his friends it made me feel a bit lonely. All of a sudden a guy came into the compartment I was in. “Hello. My Name is Laney.” I said nervously. “My name is Alexander. It’s nice to meet you.” After that, I considered him one of my close friends. A girl with pretty black hair, and slight green streaks in her hair came into the compartment with a nice smile. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m Laney!” I said happily, still a little nervous. “And I’m Alex. What’s your name?” “My name is Moriah Flint. It’s nice to meet you.” I smiled. We started having another conversation. It was awesome! I actually made some friends! “I hope we get into the same house!” I said, as we got off the train. “Me too!” Moriah and Alex said at the same time. I looked at Hogwarts once and for all. The mist, and the tall building made my jaw drop. “I can’t wait for the sorting! I’ll catch up with you guys later!” Alex said, running with the crowd of first-year's. Me and Moriah just talked and talked until we were at the Great Hall where we got sorted. Me and Moriah sat down at one of the tables. “Malfoy, Laney.” Once I heard my name, I rushed up to the podium. “Oo. A Pure Slytherin! SLYTHERIN!” I smiled, and sat at the table where all of the Slytherins sat. “Lennox, Alexander.” Alex stood up looking proud. He walked up to the podium. “Ahh, could be a Gryffindor but, SLYTHERIN!” Alex smiled happily. And walked towards me. We sat beside each other talking, waiting for Moriah to get called on. “Flint, Moriah.” Moriah walked up constantly. She walked up the podium. “It seems your brother is in Slytherin, and you seem like one too! SLYTHERIN!!” Moriah walked towards me, and sat right beside me. We all got into Slytherin and that made me happy. My close friends will have the best year yet!
