_ _ _ _ | /_\ \/ ~ ( | | | | | | } | \ | |_ \_/ U / \ /\ _) U | _ | |_| | \ | \ | |_ | By: @Luna_the_Demigod Arc: Sports Festival Jax Midoriya, Izuku Midoriya’s daughter, the number one hero’s only child, the daughter of Izuku and Ochaco, stood in the starting area of the Sports Festival, prepared for a great fight between her homeroom, Class 1-A, which she earned her way in like both of her parents, between Class 1-B, and so many other students. She closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath before slowly reopening them. She caught a glimpse of All Might, or Small Might, as Deku and Jax tended to call him, and he gave her a thumbs up. “All right, Dad, All Might, Mr. Aizawa, Mom, Mr. Bakugo, and Ms. Tsu, let’s do this,” she breathed quietly, thinking of all her mentors. She stepped out, the sunlight shining brightly on her pale pink with a hint of tan skin. She was stopped by a hand tapping her shoulder. She looked back to find a familiar face, her dad’s. “Jax, honey, you know no matter how this ends, with you anywhere between first and last, you’ll always be my daughter,” he smiled warmly. “Hey, Deku, no helping the contestants, even if one of them are your daughter,” Katsuki Bakugo, Kacchan, as Izuku called him, barked, with Deku being a mocking name for Izuku from Katsuki. Katsuki, not giving a crap about how Deku was now the Number 1 hero, taking after All Might a few months back, used his quirk, heating Izuku’s shoulder to the point where it was steaming. Shoto Aizawa’s shoulders raised ever so slightly at the sight of that, seeing Izuku tremble slightly. His hair lifted, and his eyes glowed red as he looked at Bakugo, the steam going away and the pain in Deku’s shoulder being lifted away. A small, young, female audience member watching, who had the same brown hair with green fades at the tips sat in the audience, watching Jax. “You got this, Jax!” she cried. Jax smiled at the little girl, and signed, [Love you, Ino.] The two shared a wholesome sibling bond, both being named somewhat after family members. Jax gets her name from the first person of Ochaco’s half of the family that traveled to Japan, and Ino earns her name from Inko, Izuku’s mother. After a hard first challenge, an obstacle race, just like Izuku had in his first year, in honor of Izuku’s first year at teaching at UA, Jax came in first, hardly managing, studying her father’s old record, and seeing how he got first. After the first few obstacles, she saw someone with an Ice quirk break some robots, and she used a piece of the metal from it against the land mines to gain a boost and earn first without her quirk, which would’ve been useless anyway. Her quirk was merely a tiny fraction of her father’s, and she could hardly stand 1% of One for All. She got first in the first challenge, only by a second from a boost her father had used and that she mimicked. “Well, it seems the apple’s not fallen far from the tree. The slightly better tree, because of how weak that scrawny wife of yours is, Deku,” Katsuki remarked as Jax won. The second event was far different from Izuku’s second, and nobody knew why. It was supposed to be like that ‘chicken tag’ challenge with the point system like all those years ago when Izuku first started at the school.
