I STUDIED PHILOSOPHY WHEN I WROTE THIS ESSAY. THIS DOESN'T NECESSARILY REFLECT MY BELIEFS.
A/N As a said in my introduction, the problem of evil is highly debated so it's only natural I would never be able to explore it within the bounds of 2000 words. Singlular people I mention in this essasy (Mackie) have written books evaluating this question. There is so much more I could've said but philosophy isn't known to be confusing for no reason and I wanted to prioritise clarity over suddenly having to turn this essay into whether or not God actually exists and the legitimacy of the events in the old testaments. If you wish to discuss any of these further please be welcome to ask in the comments. Total including A/N: 1487
