Update 1: It's pretty lonely up here, and the person on the other end *let's call him tower 4 Hunter* is telling me about the spooky legends in the area. The stories are interesting but freaking me out. Just took my first weather report. Update 2: Tower 4 Hunter also placed his report. He taught me morse code basics, and I just did a sweep of the area and yelled at some campers. I'm setting up a edc bag for hiking then heading down to the main site for breakfast. Update 3: I am at the building. Just met tower 4 Hunter (my only contact) and we're about to get orientation. Learning what to put in our edc bags, getting uniforms. Learning to memorize the map. Update 4: Finished my edc bag and the first night. It was...scary all alone at night to be honest. The wind was howling and I had to go outside to get firewood and take a weather report. Plus, I had to go down a trail to tell some hikers that the trail is closed off, scared them pretty well. Tommorow is my only day into the town this week, and I'm doing it with Tower 4 Hunter. Update 5: It's so foggy. I see them. By them, I mean the other towers.
