A wolf, fierce and able to outsmart the quickest of any pack. She lived as a loner, minding her own business and not caring to mess with pack wolves. And yet, Shoreline wasn’t a wolf to be messed with. She knew the snowy terrain like she knew the tricks she always used. She didn’t always look like a freak. In fact, she was once completely normal looking. Back when she was alive, she encountered a pack wolf called Cunning Antelope. The wolf was a stunning light gray color with deep green eyes. She pleaded for Shoreline to help her pack. With nothing else to do, Shoreline went with Cunning Antelope to the ravine where the pack lived. Wolves seemed to be dying to a strange infection that turned their eyes a blank orange color. Shoreline promised Cunning Antelope she’d do everything in her power to stop the infection. So, she set off to find what caused it. Along the way, she met an adolescent wolf named Stoat and his runt sister, Fern. They explained how the infection affected them, piquing Shoreline’s interest. She let them follow her on her journey to stop the infection. Not too long after, an infected fox managed to get Fern. Whether she was dead or not, the two didn’t know. But Stoat, being the pessimistic wolf he was, assumed she was gone for good. They managed to fight off an infected lone wolf, but it resulted in Shoreline losing her tail. Shoreline led Stoat to an old stone tower, where they found an orange flower believed to be the reason the infection started. When Shoreline picked it in order to inspect it, she was tangled in orange vines, similar in color to the flower, and dragged away, leaving Stoat to stop the infection on his own.
