Name: Soraya Pronouns: She/Her Little rusty on backstory writing since I haven't done so in months XD Lore: The sun shined happily overhead as if mimicking the excitement in the air as everyone prepares for the Great Festival, which is when all young cats of the village coming to the age of 14 learn their element type in magic (which there were fire, lighting, air, earth, light, and dark)! And Soraya has been dreaming of this day for years, and even read about everything having to do about magic to the point she probably knows more about magic than the average cat. Lanterns were being hung, food was being cooked, and everyone in the village set out decorations as a team. She was just overflowing with joy, and to her, every time this festival happened, the village looked more and more beautifully decorated to the point she is unable to describe it. And as the sun slowly set around her, it was time for the festival to begin. Each young cat lined up in front of the village Wizard, Yoru. And every time they a cat discovered their element type (from fire to earth) a sparkle shined around them as their element floated around them, and then faded away as the ran off happily. With each cat discovering their element type, her excitement grew to the point she could hardly contain it. Then came her turn. He looked at her, and frowned, "This can't be right? You don't seem to have a set element," he whispered, but right then and there a burst of light flashed and when the light faded, all of the element floated around her. "W-what is going?!" on she asked nervously, and at this point she can't seem to remember this ever happening to a cat. But right then and there everyone cheered, saying that everyone is "Extremely talented" and everyone went on their way (and no one wondered about this event since the wizard only whispered it). Thus starts her journey to find why had happened that (the journey started shortly after she graduated school of course), which leads her on adventures into the land of dragons, a land with only talking trees, and even separate universe with only rainbows and living clouds. All until she came upon an Inn. This was a normal looking Inn with a little sign, and a cute little tree in the front, but she had heard of a rumor of a famous historian who had retired and decided to set up this very inn. She stepped up the this inn in the middle of the morning, and felt almost tired from her search since by this point she had been looking for answers and learning even more about magic for 5 years. As she entered, there were round tables and chairs scattered around a large room, and the smell of freshly cooked food seemed to almost come from probably a kitchen into this very section of the building. There were no one around except for a very old orange tabby cat behind a counter. "Excuse me," she asked the cat, "I am wondering if the owner of the building is in at the moment." "Yes, the owner of the building is me," the cat said in a deep gruff voice. "O-oh I had heard that you were famous historian long ago, and I was wondering if you ever heard of a cat who had the magic with all element types?" she asked nervously. "I indeed have, though it is more legend than anything else. I believe the legend starts when a young cat who is extremely knowledgeable about magic discovers that they are able to use all types of magic, and goes on to become 'The Teacher' which is one of the fours great magic users. And then there is a thing about how this happens every 1000 years or so." he said while yawning. "W-well I am able to use all types of magic," she said, while summoning orbs of each type around her. At this moment, the orange cat jumped in shock. "I would suggest then that you would read this then, since it has all the stories about the legends and might be able guide you later on," he said handing her a large book. And so begins the legend of Soraya, where creates a university, finds the other four magic users, and even save the world once or twice, but of course that is a story for another day...
