Welcome to Wolf Howls: A Wolf Game! I've been working on this for MONTHS, and it's finally finished!!!! (IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME PLAYING, PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS.) First, some rules: 1: No rude or mean comments, or typing bad words about other people or the game 2: No advertising (If I see someone breaking either of these rules, I will temporarily turn off commenting) 3: DO NOT REMIX THIS PROJECT I made this project, and I do not want people to think other scratchers created this. I cannot do anything to prevent you from remixing, so please just follow the rules and don't remix. 4: Most important rule: Have fun! If you have a question, check the bottom of the notes and credits in the Frequently Asked to see if the answer is there. If not, you can leave a comment. (It's short I'll add more) Controls: Use arrow keys < > to move. Touch/click arrows to move to different areas. Click on wolves to talk to them. Press 1 to open your inventory. Press 2 to close your inventory. Press space to progress text. Hunting: When hunting elk, press d to move closer. You cannot hold down the d key, only press it. Get close enough to the elk to catch it. Jag will explain how to hunt rabbits and mice on day two Wolves: Jag, Alpha (Male) Twitch (Male) Mist, Healer (Female) Falcon (Female) Snow (Male) Canyon, Librarian (Female) Creek, Shopkeeper (Male) (I know wolves probably can't have stripes, I just wanted to get creative!) Lightning, Hunter (Female) Birch, Hunter (Male) Heron, Guard (Male) Mates: Basically, you don't have a gender in this game, but your gender usually depends on the gender of the wolf you want to have as your mate. Unfortunately, to prevent the game from lagging a lot and taking forever to load, I moved mating and pups to the next game. Sorry for any inconvenience! Storage: You should see a storage bin in your den. Click on it to open your storage. You can store mice, rabbits, and herbs in the storage. Just click on the items in the storage to store the thing you have in your inventory. You can also take something out of your storage. Giving gifts: Giving gifts to wolves is the only way to be able to mate with them. (Added in the next game) To give a gift to a wolf, open your inventory, then click the hold item button. Then talk to a wolf, and click the give gift button that will appear. You can only give a wolf up to three gifts a day. On day 30, an event will happen that ends the game. (Sorry it ended with such a cliffhanger) If you noticed you couldn't take a mate and have pups, don't worry, you'll be able to do so in the next game. Okay, that's it. Enjoy!
Reminder: If you find any glitches or bugs, please let me know in the comments. If you have suggestions, also let me know. Warnings: This game is not mobile friendly, sorry to those who play on a mobile device. This game may lag, crash, or not load because it has a lot of code. Please let me know if you are having problems. Recently added and fixed: -Added moving faster -Changed the looks of the entrances to Twitch's and Mist's dens -Fixed a few glitches -Added a button to leave your bookshelf (Sorry to those who had to restart because they couldn't leave the bookshelf) -Fixed not being able to hold or use items because the buttons wouldn't appear when opening the inventory. -Fixed if you passed out because of health or hunger, your items would be deleted but instead of stopping at 0 they would just keep going down, possibly past -34400955485885, Ha ha. -Fixed pressing the button to go to sleep too quickly would cause text to stay on the screen. -Fixed overlapping text (sort of, just don't press buttons too quickly) Frequently Asked: Q: How do I get to the library? A: Jag will show you how to do this on day two. Click the pink arrow at the waterfall leading down. For most other arrows, touch them to proceed to the next area.
