He attempted to make friends, yeah! He really did. Not his fault they were all prats. Couldn’t understand what a mistake they had made; not wanting to be his friend. Saksh grimaced as he heard his mum call his name. Loud, that woman was. But, he couldn’t risk disappointing her. He loved his mum more than anything. Even more than his father. Saksh brushed out his hair, doused it with product and brushed his teeth. “–come on, Schatzi. Need forever to get ready, hm?” his mum announced, and Saksh rolled his eyes at how he was referred to. No, he wasn’t taking forever. He needed to look good. He was about to go to Hogwarts, for Merlin’s sake! Did she not understand that? “Do I look okay?” he fussed, adjusting his robe as a loose thread caught onto his nail. He scowled, tearing his hand away from the robes. Saksh’s mum tutted, shaking her head. “...painting your nails, again, huh, Schatzen?” “Ach nein, Maman, it’s fine. Chipping off, anyway,” he defended. His nails were chipping off, indeed. The black pigment looked scarce everywhere, except for his thumbnail which he had extra difficulty fiddling with. “You have to meet your papa there, at King’s Cross Station. Sure you’ll be able to fare on your own… don’t want me to come with, Schatzi?” “Nein, Maman. No need. I'll manage,” he hissed, glaring into the mirror of his bedroom as he watched his own reflection. It was almost half past ten. He needed to get out of the house. “Maman, need to go, now.” “Okay, okay. Write letters, stay safe,” as Saksh was ushered out the door, his mum showered him with kisses over his face. The boy tried to push away. He finally got out of the smothered affection and walked to King’s Cross Station which he lived quite near. He placed his bags onto a platform. Merlin, he couldn’t wait for this to be over. It was 11:00, and he boarded the train after a short goodbye from his father. Saksh settled into an empty compartment. He looked absolutely annoyed. He narrowed his eyes, looking out the window. Who would he even talk to? ...this felt like such a waste. At least he could cause drama... and party.
