server status: offline (probably accurate idk) --> READ INSTRUCTIONS ENTIRELY, PLEASE! <-- --the Noteboard-- hi! welcome to the noteboard. this is my biggest project yet. (60+ hours of work at least) it's pretty simple for you though: it allows you to make a note. for anyone to see! (continued, please read through everything) --how to post a note-- to post a note, go here! https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/34269292/comments --note-- for those who seem to think that i make the notes, i do not. this project uses a Python (a coding language, kinda like scratch!) library called ScratchAttach which can read your comments on the studio and send them back to the project. --rules-- 1: yes, advertising your projects here is allowed, as long as it's peaceful advertising that abides by the CG (ex: hey, could you check out my project [project id here] not CHECK OUT MY PROJECT OR ELSE.) 2: be nice. i don't want fighting and discourse to get this taken down. 3: do not spam notes (posting several notes in a short period of time is fine, but please dont post more than one or two a day). this will get you banned from creating notes. and 4: have fun i guess. --controls-- hover over a note to see what it says! you can drag notes. if there's too many notes for your screen, use the arrow keys to make them smaller. if you hold q and hover over a note, you can see it's ID. oh yeah and click the flag to refresh --not important unless you're part of the ST and are concerned about this project breaking the CG-- (note to ST: no, this can not be abused and is not a free for all cloud chat, due to notes being posted via scratch's comment system. if there is an inappropriate note, i will take it down (i will monitor the project as well), but it's not my fault if your filter doesn't work.) (if somebody does somehow hack the cloud variables then that’s also not my responsibility, as your servers shouldn’t be able to be hacked. that’s a huge security risk and you, scratch, should really fix that.) (if it does happen i can however quickly fix it plus the server will fix itself if online)
thanks to @TimMcCool for scratchattach, the python library used to make this whole thing work. oh and to alert me of an inappropriate note (which is pretty hard to create (as in almost impossible)), just send me the id of the note (done by pressing q over a note) which allows me to almost instantly delete it, once i check my messages (which i do a lot so) changelog: v1.0: first stable release. v1.1: released! added !ingore tag for announcements in the studio, and updated the server code (unimportant to anyone but me lol) v1.2: massive changes to the server, small visual changes
