Alabatus: Well, If you’re going to find him, I’m going to do homework. (Alabatus sets his stuff down, takes out his homework, walks to the table, and starts to do his homework) [Moon sets her stuff down, goes back outside, and walks in the forest] Moon: Kero? Kero:(In a tree, flips upside down) Moon! You’re back! Moon: Yeah, you needed me? Kero: I want you to see the project I’m working on! Follow me! (Kero flips out of the tree, and takes off running) [Moon follows him at a steady pace, not wanting to outpace him] Moon: Kero! Where are you going? Kero: To my project! Here we are! [Moon stops running, and stops next Kero to look at his project] Moon: What is it? Kero: It’s supposed to be a snake-turtle. Moon: Oh, I see it now. [Kero is upset] Moon: Hey Kero, I could bring it to life. Kero: Really? Moon: Let me get my stuff. [Moon runs back to the house, opens the door, and runs upstairs to her room] Quackity: Whoa, slow down, Moonbeam. Moon: I promised Kero something. Nick: Then I’m not going to stop you. [Moon runs into her room] Moon: (Tearing through her room) Where is it? Alabatus: Where is what? Moon: My magic stuff. Alabatus: It’s in your closet. (Points to her closet) Top shelf. Moon: I know dumb-ass, that’s where it always is. Alabatus: Why’d you ask then? Moon: I needed to be reminded. Alabatus: (Shrugs) If you say so. (Walks out) [Moon grumbles as Alabatus walks down the hall. She gets on her tip-toes, and pulls down her magic stuff] [Moon runs down the stairs with her stuff, flies out the door, and runs back to Kero] Moon: Sorry to keep you waiting. Kero: It’s okay.Moon:(She opens the box of stuff, then proceeds to dig through it to find some purple powder) Found it! Kero: Good! [Moon opens the pouch, takes out some the powder, tosses it on the sculpture, and mumbles words] Moon: It’s done. Kero: I’m naming it Droplet. Moon: That’s a nice name. [Moon’s dog, Cerberus, runs into Kero.] Moon: Hey, Cerbie! Kero: Oof, hey Cerberus. [Both laugh] Moon: Cerbie! Perfect timing. Well, time for me to get home, See ya Kero. (Moon waves as she runs home) [Nick and Alabatus are fighting when Moon gets home] Nick: Alabatus! Finish folding your clothes! Alabatus: No! You can’t make me! Nick: Alabatus Kerosene Jacobs, get your butt back in here now! Or your laptop goes up in flames! Alabatus: No! (Alabatus runs back inside to finish his chores) [Moon walks in the house, to see Alabatus run up the stairs, and Quackity sitting at the counter] Moon: Hola, Papi. Quackity: Hola Luna. ¿Cómo ha sido tu día? Moon: Buena. ¿Tuya? Quackity: Mismo. Moon: Buena. Alabatus: What are we talking about? Moon: Just asking Papi how his day was. Alabatus: Okay, do we have any food? Moon: It’s in the fridge, top shelf, all the way in the back on the right side. Alabatus: What’s there? Moon: Ramen from the last time I cooked. Alabatus: So.. yesterday? Moon: Yep. Alabatus: Hm. [Alabatus reheats the ramen, and goes upstairs again] Moon: ¿Cómo está- Nick:(From upstairs) ALABATUS! Alabatus: WHAT? WHAT DID I DO NOW? Nick: DIDN’T I TELL YOU TO EAT IN THE KITCHEN? Alabatus: NO? I WOULD REMEMBER THAT IF YOU DID. Nick: JUST GO EAT IN THE KITCHEN, PLEASE. [Alabatus comes downstairs with his ramen, and Nick comes downstairs fuming, and goes outside]Moon: ¿Padre está bien? ¿Debería ir a calmarlo? Quackity: No. Déjalo ser. Moon: Bueno. [Karl comes in the door, looking a little panicky] Karl: Is Nick okay? Moon: Father’s not okay, he just had the second fight of the day with Alabatus. Karl: Oh no.. Moon: Was he running somewhere? Karl: He ran past me, at top speed, towards the lake. [Moon gets up abruptly, and runs out the door] Moon: (crying, and running at top speed) Come on, run faster, save him. [Moon gets to the lake just in time to see Nick throw himself in] Moon: (sobbing, dives in after him) Father! Don’t do this! [Nick’s eyes close, dreaming of the afterlife, unaware Moon swimming towards him. Moon grabs him, and pulls him out of the lake] Moon: Help! ¡Ayuda! [Karl,Quackity, and Alabatus come running. Nick is unconscious, and burned very badly] Karl: Nick.. This day was coming, we all knew it. Moon: We need to get Father to a hospital. Alabatus: How, though? It’s not like we live in the MIDDLE OF A FOREST. Quackity: We could fly him there. Alabatus: And how do we do that? Moon: Papi and I could put him on our backs. Quackity: That’s what I was thinking. Karl: But he’s really heavy, I’ve tried carrying him before. Moon: That was by yourself, and Papi and I will work together. Karl: If you say so… [Moon and Quackity lift Nick onto gently their shoulders, and take off] Moon: I’m having some trouble with this updraft, Papi. Quackity: I’ll move slightly, okay?
