~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~⋆⭒✩⭒⋆~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ✧✦Captive Bio Format✦✧ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~⋆⭒✩⭒⋆~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ꧁WARNING: Text below contains mentions of death꧂ []Name[]Aine (AWN-ya) Boseki []Age[] 14 [] Gender[] Female []Sexuality[] Straight []Pronouns[]She/her(they/them?) []Species[]Half-Gae'trekira, Half-Enfield []Appearance[] Aine wears a military officer's coat with denim jeans and mid-length, brown, fabric boots. She also wears a grey cloak with a hood that, if pulled down, can hide most of her face from view. Around her neck wears a thick greyish-beige scarf. Aine has dark brown, slightly wavy (at the ends) shoulder-length hair that she normally wears down. She stands at just short of 6 feet, and is slender with deep golden eyes. She has feathery, wing-like extensions on her arms that begin just below the elbow and spread outwards and upwards from her wrists. Aine's hands are also actually ebony, bird-like talons, inherited from her Enfield bloodline which become human at around halfway down her forearms. She has two, narrow, fox-like ears on her head, and a fox-like tail that also has striped brown-grey and white feathers poking through it. []Personality[] Aine is extremely self-critical, often finding ways to blame herself for any mistakes or slip-ups that occur, even when they shouldn't be her fault. She is paranoid and wary of other people and is, as a result, very reserved, keeping all her thoughts in her head, where she feels they are safe. Subsequently, she often struggles to open up to people. She has a tendency to lash out at people when she is wound up, normally from blaming herself, typically with toxic or sadistic remarks. Despite this, Aine cares greatly about the few people feels comfortable with, and is thoughtful, being socially aware of other's feelings, even when they are well concealed. Whilst she may not be the most useful person to respond to these situations, she tends to provide little gestures of support in an attempt to make the person feel slightly better. Aine always feels like an outsider, and likes to be included, although she pretends she doesn't. She also despises being wrong in any way or make mistakes (part of her resentment for being different) particularly when this can cause other people to get hurt. She is extremely analytical, and doesn't like to rush headfirst into situations, and tends to assess fights before joining them, and may even avoid one altogether if she feels it is one she will lose. Aine generally prefers to avoid conflicts. Despite this though, she always carries dagger in her boot, in case of emergencies (of which somehow happen far too much to be recommended to her). Aine is solitary and independent, being hugely mistrustful and paranoid and hating having to be helped. That being said, she does appreciate the company of others, though she normally doesn't show it. Aine tends to face things with a pessimistic attitude, though she often doesn't realise how pessimistic she is being. She has also developed a dark sense of humour since her mother's passing which sometimes can border on outright morbidity. []Power[] Due to being half-Gae'trekira, Aine has the ability to shape shift in addition to her other power: Illusions. She also carries a khopesh, as well as a number of bladed instruments (mainly daggers and knives) which are concealed along her belt, up her sleeves, as well a dagger in her left boot. Aine believes that the best weapon is the one closest to hand, and has fought with random items she has just grabbed on several occasions. []Weaknesses (for personality and powers)[] Aine is quite misstrustful of people and is very paranoid, making it hard for her to trust others and make friends. She can make sadistic and acidic retorts towards others when she is angry at herself, normally from messing up in some way, and can fall into spiky and sullen silences during these periods. Aine's use of her illusion powers can often leave her drained, particularlly when she has to create illusions before large amounts of people. This exertion can cause her to become light-headed and sometimes nauseous. On some rare occasions, she accidently creates or alters her illusions in response to a expereiencing strong memory or flashback. This can also sometimes meaning she can manifest and project especially potent nightnares into her surroundings. Enfields are also traditionally guardians of the dead, so disturbances of the deceased (such as people digging up graves or abusing dead bodies) in a close proximity to her can cause her to suffer from severe headaches or migraines. []Family[] Father- Deceased Mother-Deceased []Backstory[] (See the Notes and Credits section) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~⋆⭒✩⭒⋆~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
However, after he met Aine's mother, he began to realise that these other magical beings were more than just tools by which to return to Earth, and so became fixated on saving them. He began to spill secrets of the Gae'trekiras' plans to others. Aine, in the meantime, had a relatively peaceful upbringing, and spent a lot of time learning about Earth from her mother, who had been hunted on numerous occasions by gamehunters searching for a rare prize. However, when Aine was eight, Gae'trekira authorities, who had become increasingly aware of her father's spreading of classified information, decided that Aine's father had to be 'compromised' due to the threat his actions were posing to their plans. As a result, Aine's father was assassinated shortly after this descision was made, under the cover of an unfortunate, work-based accident. Those whom Aine's father had made contact were soon silenced, and the secrets sealed away safely again. After Aine's fatehr died, Aine's mother began to become more protecitve of her daughter, and Aine begun to turn more paranoid, secretley harbouring the the thoughts that her father was far too careful to die in such an easily avoidable accident. Four years afterwards, when Aine was twelve, an inferno engulfed her home after an anonymous pyrokinetic attack. Aine survived, but her mother didn't, leaving Aine an orphan. She has been wasndering the city alone for about 2 years now. (Sorry the backstory is so brief and disjointed ^^')
