okayyy so! i was asked to make a tutorial, but idk how lol, so this is my drawing process for humans! 1- the basic shapes i use are basically a medium circle for the head, two trapezoids (small side together) for the torso, and two triangles for the feet- you can definitely switch it up to whatever you're comfortable with, but this is what i use! 2- i draw teeny circles where the shoulders should be and for the joints, and then connect them with lines! i also usually block out where the hands will go with rectangles/squares. i also add the chin shape, but it depends on what kind of artstyle i'm going for. 3- lowering the opacity, i sorta smooth it out, and add ears/shape to the head, and figure out what kind of body type i want for this character. i'm still learning how to draw plus-sized body types realistically, but i'd reccomend just making the trapezoids wider and possibly change up the proportions a little for a stylized look, and maybe round out some sharper angles. 4- okay, i'm now realizing how much this looks like the captain underpants art (nostalgia whaaat??), but around this step i add eyes and a nose, and the usual human facial features, along with hand-like blobs because i don't know how to draw hands on hips- 5- details yaaaay! i added a jumpsuit-kinda thing because I didn't feel like drawing baggy clothes, and a ponytail because, again, i didn't want to draw anything to difficult. i added freckles on a lower opacity, which turned out pretty cool looking if i do say so myself B-)
