Imagine a little cube-shaped friend that floats around you & helps with chores & tasks. These exist! They're called astrobees & they work on the International Space Station. Fun facts: - Astrobees have names! The three astrobees currently on the ISS are named Honey, Bumble, & Queen. - Before astrobees, there were SPHERES robots on the ISS. Despite the acronym, they weren't very spherical. - An astrobee has an arm that it can use to carry things. - Like regular bees, astrobees work together to complete tasks, such as working together to carry a large object. - Astrobees do not function outside the ISS, in a vacuum, because they need air to propel themselves.
