We were creating containers to hold art supplies, though I’m going to be growing strawberries in mine. This art class is an out of school class btw. We first drew the idea we had, you can see I never ended up putting vines on mine, but I’ll get that tasty contrast colour from the vines of the plant. I’m not sure when I’m going to plant the strawberries though haha. We then started with some delicious grey clay. We did this technique called uhhhhhhhh I forgor, and after I made the hood for my chest boi, we also made small practice ones of our sculptures so doing the real one would be a lot easier. But that one just kind of evaporated so I don’t have it lol. Once I had the base and hood of my mimic connected to each other, I then added the teeth. I also ended up deciding to do a gold handle at the last minute of the small details. At this time I also realized that the other person sitting next to me was doing an entire ogre, while I just had to create a CHEST WITH TEETH- Anyways, today we just finished the painting job, I used brown, red, white, and yellow. ( The strawberry plant will give me the tasty green color) Our teacher added the spray that made it all shiny. And boom, my container is finished :)
