So, I honestly don't have any motivation to continue to try and write a whole freaking book. Therefore, I'm going to start writing one short story every week or two starting next Saturday. There will be a few categories to choose from: -Historical Fiction -Mystery and Suspense -Romance -Life Experience -Comedy -Fantasy -Action and Adventure -Horror -Science Fiction -Western And I will not be choosing the category in which I write, you guys will be! The type of story most requested in the comments of the newest posted story will be the type of story that I will write, and then I will choose the prompt since I am using a prompt book to help me out. For this week, since I wanted to see how you guys like my stories, I will write in the notes and credits a Horror-ish story that I wrote to get myself started. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to tell me which genre you want to see next week. Also, the book that I am using is the Create a Story book in the picture.
Prompt: A Creature that becomes more human with every person he kills. Like a shadow in the night, the monster hunted for his prey, plotting exactly how to suck every ounce of blood from her body like the leach that he was. While the guilt of it all was overwhelming, the beast was so desperate, that he murdered his owners, who had cared for him and tried to help him, just to become human once more. Now a subhuman parasite, he cornered his final victim. His eyes bulging with hunger like a vulture, he devoured the poor girl, leaving nothing left. Almost instantaneously, his jagged claws turned to nails, his blood-stained fangs into teeth, his filthy fur turned into hair. He was finally human save his eyes, which never did become normal after he had killed his old owner's wife. He still had a small hunch too, even after feasting on the master himself. But the eyes he could hide, and the hunch was barely noticeable, so as he came out from the alleyway, he walked with pride, knowing that he was now a monster among humans, hiding in plain sight.
