- My name is jae. (Any pronouns) I am a competitive figure skater. I also love writing, art and playing the viola. - I am 14 years old and I’ve been on the hive since September of 2022. I am mostly active after 12pm. - I would be a good manager because I am a kind person, but I stil wouldn’t be afraid to enforce rules. I am also good at analyzing and making predictions about situations. I am good at staying calm in emotionally charged situations, I am able take care of a situation on the internet first, and deal with my emotions later. - Downsides to me being a manager would be that my family goes on vacation multiple times a year, and I have to travel for skating competitions, and sometimes I have low to minimal access to my device. Also, I will rarely be on nighthive, I am not ruining my sleep schedule for the Gaehive. - some unique things I could bring to the position are, creativity, I would they to make more creative studio activity’s and events, and more often than just holidays. Also, I am good at analyzing situations and people, soI would be able to make a good prediction of ow people would react to a change before it happens. - my stances on important issues in the studio: venting in the Gaehive: since venting can get people in trouble with the st and vent studios are often removed from scratch, venting shouldnt be allowed in the hive because if people vent too much, it could start to be perceived as a vent studio. I would support venting on your profile and linking it in the studio because it is only putting your own comments at risk and not the entire studio. Also, it gives people control over if they see it because some people cant handle vents. Issue #2: hostility towards newcomers - This just need to stop, this studio isn’t hard to find so most people arent sockpuppets. Be kind to people, this hostility will give people a negative first impression of the studio. Remember,people are innocent until proven guilty. #3 ignoring advice/euphoria comments, we can’t necessarily make someone respond to a comment but we could add a reminder to respond to any euphoria requests with no replies, because it could make someone’s day better trigger warnings: it needs a trigger warning if someone asks for one,or its a common trigger, like death for example. This dosent apply if someone is mocking trigger warnings. -things I would change if I was promoted- I would make more studio events,more often than just holidays, I would try to enforce the rules ( a comment is still inappropriate even if its funny) and try to create a studio culture of self care - people i would recommend for manager They are a good mix of chaotic and serious, they have successfully run a studio event,(comment of the year voting) They make great suggestions in the discussion studios of both Gaehive and gwdfi all the time, and those suggestions being implemented would seriously help the studio They are very mature and kind. Also, he under stands exactly why a lot of our rules exists and can give rule breakers reasons to stop other than “follow the rules or else”
