BETTER THAN EVER CHAPTER 1

Instructions

i walk up to hogwarts station with hagrid and catherine walking next to me. i give them a big bear hug and i give out a happy squeal. "ah! i haven't seen you all in so long!" AFTER A WHILE OF TALKING... (i fr didn't want to add it lol) we all board the carriages happily when i get paired with Athena (mira) fred and catherine. i stared out the window curiously of where leo was. Leo was on of my best friends from last year and suprisingly my crush. i hadn't seen him sense my birthday a month and a half ago. me and catherine both got owls. catherine got a great horned owl which she named Lily in honor of our mum. and i got a snowy white owl which i named James in honor of my dad. My adopted father Severus Snape used to get bullied by my dad so snape doesnt really love the name james for my owl and tried to get me to change it but i had my heart set on it. when we got to the great hall we all headed to the gryffindor table. once all of the first years got sorted i noticed a tall lanky boy standing next to our new defense against the dark arts teacher Patricia Owell. the boy had messy brown hair and grey eyes. Then i heard Headmaster Dumbledore say "everyone this year a student from hufflepuff named Leo Star moved to the united states to attend ilvermorny after family issues so a kid who just moved here is here to come. he is a second year named Zach Lupin" my ears pirked up at the name lupin. me and catherine both looked at each other in suprise then i hear Mira turn to me and say "wait did he say that leo moved?!" everything around me started getting blurry and my stomach felt like it had just been punched in the stomach. how could he? WHY did he not tell us? then i heard the hat yell for Zach "SLYTHERIN" me and catherine both gave a tiny gasp. but then i thought for a second it was possible, tonks (his mum) mum was in hufflepuff and Tonks mum was a black so it was possible. crazy none the less. then all of a sudden after the clapping finished Headmaster Dumbledore said- "and lastly before you eat there has been a mistake last year so can i please have Eva Potter come up here please?" Everybody's heads turned to me as i walked up to Dumbledore. "y-yes?" i say quietly. "come" he says and ushers me to the hat. i sit down and the hat gets placed on my head and the hat says "last year i made a mistake you are a...." "SLYTHERIN!" my face went pale white as i walked up and headed to the slytherin table. after i sat down people started eating. i turned to a girl next to me she had long black hair and green eyes. "hello Im Eva Potter who are you?" i ask "im adrianna Black" she says and smiles.
