The duckling, filled with despair, Brokenhearted, beyond repair. "I can't be THAT ugly," he said to himself. "I don't belong here. I'm going somewhere else." So the duckling traveled and traveled, Over mountains, over seas And as he did, he grew up a bit, you see. The insults replayed over and over in his mind But he told himself to stop, to leave those thoughts behind. "Now is the time for a new start, A new beginning," he said, and hope filled his heart. This time in a pond, he looked at himself He thought he'd see ugly, but he saw something else... A...Swan? "No, it can't be! I'm not a swan, I'm ugly!" But it was the truth. He'd grown so much, You couldn't tell...He looked so tough! The handsome swan looked again and again, And he was finally happy. This is the end. The moral of this story is to tell: Leave your burdens behind, the end is always swell. Don't bully others, it's not kind Guiltiness is the only thing you will find. Instead, be nice. Be supportive! And then, happily ever after, you'll live.
