"Azara..." Mila said, waiting outside the door. "Let me in..." Azara sighed. She surely wanted to blame her for using the worst unforgivable curse on their mother. "Wait, Mila...please," Azara replied. She didn't feel like speaking Chinese to her sister. Azara was looking at the acceptance letter, seeing what she needed on her first day. She finally opened the door after a minute, which seemed like an hour. Firstly, Mila walked into the room. Then, she picked up the acceptance letter, crushed it into a ball and-impressively-threw it in the bin in one shot. Azara lost her temper. "What are you doing?!" Azara shouted. "STOP. STOP, STOP STOP. I don't want you to harm me...and I don't want to harm you." Mila said, calmly. Azara crossed her arms and sat on her bed. "WHAT DO YOU WANT? ONCE YOU'VE DONE ASKING, THEN GET OUT OF MY ROOM." "You can't keep harming people." "I know..." "Wait...I don't even remember when I was 5...how can you?" "Errr, super memory??" "If you say so..." Mila sighed. "That's all. Oh! And we're going to Diagon Alley in an hour. Get ready." Mila raised her eyebrows with a face full of hope. "Ok. Ok, I forgive you..." "再见!"* "再见!" Azara's face also filled with hope. *** "Bye, father," Azara and Mila said together. "Bye." Mila went first. "Diagon Alley." Mila shouted. A burst of green flames shot up. Azara stepped in the fireplace. "Diagon Alley!" When she arrived, Mila began talking straight away. “I’ll meet you outside Flourish and Blotts in ten minutes. Go to Ollivander’s and buy a wand. I’m going to buy your books,” Mila said. “Ok.” Azara stepped into the shop where she saw an old man was standing behind an old, rusty desk. “Hello,” Azara greeted, nervously. “Hello, are you here to buy a wand?” Ollivander queried. “Yes, please.” “What’s your name?” “Azara Slytherin.” “Hmmm. Yes. Try this wand.” Azara used the wand-lighting spell. The wand didn’t do anything. “Maybe…just maybe…” Ollivander murmered. “This one!” Azara used the charm again. On cue, the wand lit up perfectly. “Elder, 17 inches, thestral tail hair!” Ollivander said, quickly. “Sorry?” “Elder, 17 inches, thestral tail hair!” Ollivander repeated, quickly. “Sorry?” The old man’s face fell. “Azara…you’re deaf.” “I-I…how did you know? No-one knew!” “How did you become deaf?” Ollivander asked. Azara sighed. “I-I had an illness as a child. It was severe. My father left me and my mother alone. My mother went to to find a doctor but abandoned me in the process. But little did i know that my mother wasn’t finding a doctor. Instead of finding one, she went off with a multi-millionare and left me all by myself…abandoned. I was in hospital. No-one could cure me. Until a peculiar man came along. He made a deal with me. He said that he could heal me, in exchange for deafness. The surgery was a success…” “And…you’re deaf?” “Yeah. If you don’t mind, i’d like to take this wand with me. I don’t feel comfortable talking about this.” “Ah! Yes, of course! Goodbye.” “Bye!” Azara stood outside the shop. A cold draught passed, brushing her coat and making her face numb. A few moments later, Mila showed up outside the shop. “Ready to go back? We start tomorrow and dad wants us to be back by seven,” she said. “Yeah,” Azara replied.
*bye(you should know that from the prologue:)
