THE TALES OF MIRANDUS KOSTEZ This book takes place 2 years after the events of Harry Potter's final year though he is still well known for his bravery, intellect and is to this day known as “The Boy Who Lived.” As well to say if you are one fond of J.K. Rowlings only boy/girl style then you are in the wrong place. Rowling had a brilliant mind yet, I like her books not her opinion on LGBTQIA+ Introductions, So Mirandus Kostez is a young mage in an odd world that is Hogwarts. It is full of magic and wonders, it is filled with danger and unknown but Mirandus Kostez is a 3rd year in Hogwarts at age 13. you'll hear more when the time is right. Mirandus felt a sunken feeling as his professor walked up to him, his feet sounding like thunder hitting the ground. Always wearing the same black shoes making the same scary suspenseful sound when you hear it. He was semi- kind only to the good kids… who were also in Slytherin, which Mirandus was but Snape was not nice to Mirandus since he was a Ravenclaw. As Snape approached he gave Mirandus an unpleasant look and stopped in front of him and looked as if he would strike Mirandus though he finally spoke in a forced voice “Ravenclaw '' he said in his deep toned type voice. Mirandus always liked Snape besides his always angry sounding tone, Mirandus was never the saint type though he was never bad or so Mirandus thought, Snape kept walking as did Mirandus behind him to go to My classes. He Was scheduled to go to Professor Flitwicks for charms class to learn Wingardium Leviosa, or the levitation spell. As he make his way to classroom 2E he walks into charms class he examines the room to see only students of the house Slytherin, Ravenclaw (in which mirandus is in), Hufflepuff and Gryffindor and his appropriately rather small professor that was Mr Flitwick, being shorter than most students even. He stood on a pile of books to help… even out his height. as Mr. Flitwick says kindly “Take a seat please Mister Kostez.” in his higher pitched voice he said. As Mirandus slowly sits down, he realizes that his friend Ben was waving at him so he went to sit down next to his friend when he heard Flitwick say kindly but with a slight bit more annoyance in his voice this time he said “Please do not cause trouble” he sat and heard Ben mutter something snarky under his breath until he heard Flitwick finally begin and Ben stopped talking. As it started Flitwick said today in class we are going to learn the Levitation spell, Wingardium Leviosa is the incantation, it is particularly easy to demonstrate he said as he placed a small writing feather with no ink on a smaller pile of books in front of him and breathed in and out slowly and loudly and proudly said the incantation and moved his wand with a fast jerk up he lifted the feather and slowly moved it about and set it down with ease. Then he said “Please practice, take notes and the first to do it their house will earn 5 points toward the house cup.” As he practiced the incantation slowly, he heard Snape walk through the door and quite fastly walk up to Professor Flitwick and whisper something in his ear and Flitwick stood as lifeless as a dementor eyes wide and Snape, well lifeless can't begin to describe him and he has never smiled some 7th year told me I honestly can't say im surprised. Flitwick said as if he was scared
"Line up by house immediately” Which was odd considering his normal sentence included please. We lined up as each of our prefects Ravenclaws being: Ryther Wixen. Hufflepuffs is: Kiste Ofipaw. Griffindors is: Woret Ponto. And Slytherins being: Carson Milar (you will see why this is important). Though Flitwick said no speaking Ben asked “what's this about” and Mirandus replied “I don't know but talking is not worth getting in trouble.” Carson walked up to us and said “What's the talking?” He said, in response Mirandus said proudly “Ben asked a question and I answered.” Then Carson waited… and waited then spoke: “You see I could snitch and do what a slytherin would, yet you snitch on yourself so I have done nothing and you still get in trouble” Snape walks past us and as he goes to grab a book as he passes by Mirandus he says “10 points from Gryffindor” not stopping. Mirandus’ jaw dropped wide open as Snape returned tho other way with his unknown book right behind Carson as he sniggered. As the prefects started walking Mirandus heard McGonagall and Snape talking about Lord Voldemort and a Hogwarts break in, it may not have necessarily been Voldemort but that's what I heard so I'm assuming a servant of Voldemorts broke in or something of the sort, hopefully not Voldemort himself, Miradus felt scared. Rhyther took us up the moving stairs and the picture at the door asked the riddle to open the door to the house it asked “If you feed me I Get stronger, if you give me a drink I die, what am I?” Ryther instantly answered “fire” the painting said “Well done” and opened the door. Mirandus’ prefect ushered us in and said “come on, we don't have all day, hurry now.” As I made it in the common room Mirandus sat on the couch and talked with Ben over what it could be. “What if someone broke into Hogwarts?” Ben asked. Mirandus explained how that would be highly implausible since it is a magical school with many highly skilled professors. Though the story of Sirius Black still circulates throughout the school. After a couple hours of ranting we finally went to sleep and when we woke… anything bad that could happen, happened Chapter 2 (In perspective of Mirandus Kostez) When I finally woke up everyone was petrified (the curse which enables the person who the spell was inflicted on to not be able to move to be in a deadish state) so I got up and slowly took a look around the common room. After realizing everyone was petrified I left the common room hoping to find someone who was not petrified. As I walked I felt a dark presence, as if a demon was following me so I turned around and saw… someone I don't know who, with a cheap dementor mask. It was wearing a black raggedy cloak. I couldn't make out their face. He did a quick movement and said expelliarmus: the disarming charm there was nothing I could do. My mind rushed, worried, confident, but wait there is a charm taught to 6th years: Protego, my dad taught it to me after my 2nd year when I came home until next semester. He taught me the charm in case of danger or for use in a duel so now was the time. I quickly drew my wand and in a slashing motion I said PROTEGO loud and proud, and… It worked, I deflected it in time, yes. YES and more importantly, I casted a 6th year spell but wait, what do I do now I mean there's a random unknown person trying to disarm me which doesn't sound bad but the disarming charm is what comes first then the real spells like the knockback jinx. I’d be flying anyway. I don't want to hurt him. “Uhm” I said thinking of a spell to use to not hurt them. As the Person pulled his wand over his head to cast a spell… “Petrificus Totalus” I said, with a small movement of the wrist, "The full body bind charm”. As his body fell frozen in place I walked over to inspect the close to dead student. I slowly removed the dementor mask… James, a fellow Ravenclaw yet he's a 5th year so we don't talk a lot yet we are acquainted. Good thing I didn't kill him. Is he the one who petrified everyone? Well anyways Professor McGonagall ran up the stairs asking “What is all the comm- oh dear, Mirandus what have you done?” “He’s alive. I used the full body bind charm, he tried to use the disarming charm first. I blocked it using protego, my dad taught it to me before I even started at Hogwarts, I’m sorry.” “Mirandus… you don't have to be sorry, you were able to cast a protective spell and you did not harm a fellow student, though he was unknown at the time you maintained your patience like you should, Well done Mr. Kostez.”
