Wind buffeted her, and the only light she had was from her luminescent blue stars- however, that would soon make her even more tired than she already was. /Just a bit farther,/ she thought to herself. Soon, she found herself in front of the oak cabin. Solstice coughed, and her misty breath showed. She lightly knocked, and wiped away the frigid snowflakes. The door swung open, and a rush of warm air greeted her almost cheerily. "Solstice!" A voice cried. "Come in, come in!" She staggered inside, and the cat closed the door behind her. There was a fire crackling, and there were many lanterns lit around the lodge. leafy plants hang from the ceiling or sat on tables and ledges. "Viburnum," Solstice whispered. The white-ish green patterned cat turned to her with sparkling forest green eyes, midway through a pour of hot tea. Viburnum padded over, and nudged Solstice softly. "Drink this, and rest." She coaxed. Solstice lapped at the warm yellow tea, and the coziness sank into her as her lids slowly closed. --- "Get up," A harsh voice growled. Her lids slammed open, and she glanced at what was happening. "What- who-" Solstice stuttered. "The queen will be pleased we found her," A second voice hissed while sneering at her. /Viburnum! Was she safe?/ Her heart thudded in her chest. Well, she had completely forgot about the little problem ... that she was highly wanted by Queen Lazuli. /For-/ her thought was cut off as metal wrist cuffs snapped to all her paws, which connected to a gray chain held by the guard. Solstice inhaled and exhaled. "Beetle, do you think we'll be upgraded?" The first voice, the stockier gray one, grunted. The smaller, leaner one- with a striking resemblance to a beetle, responded, "Finding Solstice?! Of course she will, " Beetle laughed, her tone dripping with mock and venom. She thrust her head at Solstice until her yellow eyes locked on hers for a moment, then she shook her head. "Go," she said. She nipped at Solstice, oh my dog it didnt save
