Octavia tapped her claws against the stone table impatiently. She knew that the stealth team she sent out would take a while, but Migration having a flamesilk would change the game! Her tapping stopped abruptly and her head shot up. Talonsteps in the hallway! Yes, the stealth team was back! She began to frantically try to look intimidating. Silkwings could usually be scared into cooperating, but this was a free flamesilk. Who knows where they could have come from? Still, nothing could prepare her for the otherworldly dragon that was pushed into the room. ◇□◇□◇□◇□◇□◇ Rosefinch gasped for air as the blindfold and gag were removed. Where was she? A coughing noise directed her attention to the other dragon sitting at the stone table. When her eyes landed on the dragon, she gasped. This dragon was like nothing she had ever seen before. Dark blue with turquoise stripes and four pairs of butterfly wings, she had an air of confidence around her that said 'I'm in charge.' Was she Octavia? The strange dragon opened her mouth and began to speak. ◇◇•◇◇•◇◇ Octavia was brimming with excitement stepping out of the interrogation room. There was another continent! And better yet, they had a firebreathing dragon. She was already making new plans. No longer would they have to risk exposing Migration every time they needed flamesilk. Now they would have fire to spare for... other things. Like burning the hives down. Octavia smiled to herself. Forget the heir, this 'skywing' would bring the silkwing kingdom back to its former glory. Wasp would regret the day she took over the silkwings. Suddenly a loud shriek rang through the air. Octavia sighed. What was it this time? Following the sound of the yelling, she walked through the labyrinth of tunnels until she got outside. Outside? No one was supposed to be outside unless it was night. Another shriek guided her eyes to the heir and a leafwing that looked about the same age as the heir wrestling. Why wasn't she surprised? The heir had been trouble since the moment she had joined Migration. Racing towards the fighting pair, she grabbed them both by their arms and dragged them back into the tunnels. She didn't have time for this, she would just let her assistant sort this out. As she held the two back from each other, her mind drifted back to the skywing. Running Migration had always been chaotic, but things were finally looking up.
