Ayden hadn't meant for it to happen…he didn’t mean for anyone to get hurt. He glanced around the dimly lit room, regret filling his every thought. He inhaled deeply, though the scent of iron was the only smell that filled the air. He glanced down at his shaking hands, only to see a crimson liquid slowly dripping onto the ground like rain that had slowly come to a stop. He clenched his fists, a moist sound coursing through the room. Ayden’s mind raced…how would he cover this? What if someone had heard the screams and called the cops? He needed to leave…now. But where would he go? No one knew, right? So he could go home, clean up, and wander the streets. He nodded to himself, deciding on his plan, and he slowly began to walk towards the back door of the place he was in. As his heavy steps dragged against the solid concrete, the young male had his hands shoved into his pockets so no one could see both the blood and the shakiness of them. He quickened his pace to about one or two steps per the large concrete squares, his shoes loud against the ground. Later that evening, there was a loud knock on Ayden’s door. The male was puzzled, and anxiety soon started to fill his body. He slowly felt himself creep towards the door. What if it was the cops? What if they had found the body? What if there were fingerprints? So many questions flooded his head as he made his hand creep onto the doorknob. He turned it slowly and opened the door, the hinge making a faint creak. There was a woman standing behind the wooden door. She had long brown hair streaked with blonde stripes and pale skin. She was wearing a carefully styled outfit, more on the formal side. She met Ayden’s gaze and frowned gently. The male felt himself take a step back. “I-i’m sorry! I d-didn’t mean to, it was an accident, I swear!” He quavered, moving back more. The woman took a step into his house, her heel clicking against the hardwood flooring. “I’m sorry, Ayden. You know…I truly don’t understand how someone accidentally kills someone…It’s honestly tragic. She had a good life ahead of her.” Ayden’s hands shook heavily. “H-how did you find out…?” He asked, his voice stuttering. The woman smiled, her face shadowed by the light. “I have my ways~”
