So, I was in class, and someone mentioned AI drawings, right? I was curious, so I looked it up, and I found THIS website: https://hotpot.ai/art-generator And I was like, oh, this is cool, what do I want to draw. *pauses* Well, obviously, Lockwood and Co characters. So. Presenting our most favorite book characters ever, drawn by AI! There'll be 3 pictures of each. The first mode is more of an artsy sort of style, the second a bit more contemporary with less lines, the last one realistic. If there's a '.5' of one, that means I edited the description because I wasn't so sure about the first picture. It's still the same mode as the first number suggests though. Oh, this is gonna be fun. Lucy Carlyle ------------- #1: Oh, this is decent. Definitely not what I'd imagined her wearing, though... I think I'm gonna tweak the description and see if I can change that to, like, a sweater or something. #1.5: It's a better sweater, and a better skirt, but in both pictures it completely ignored the description of grey leggings. Hm. Other than that, it's pretty good though. #2: Mm, not bad. Again, grey leggings ignored, and If Lucy were to wear a sweater it would have a longer torso than that, but overall, not bad. #3: *Chokes on water* What. OK, it's not bad, but somehow this looks nothing like how I was imagining her?? Also where's the sword. And the leggings. Anthony Don't-Call-Me-Big-A Lockwood ------------------ #1: He looks sorta...like a pirate? Like, that's just not his rapier. It's a /sword/. Not quite sure what's happening in the background. Decent, otherwise. #2: Still kinda pirate-ish, but better. Aaaaaaand I'm not gonna say anything about the sword. But other than that, it's pretty good. Hang on, lemme see if I can change the description to less pirate-ish... .5: Is this less pirate-ish? I mean, it looks pretty good...bUt tHe sWoRd-- : Um, is it just me or does his hand look really weird? Like it has too many fingers? And it looks like his hand is supposed to be gripping something, but it's not...'cause if he was gripping his jacket, you wouldn't be able to see his thumb...? *studies hand with a puzzled and slightly concerned expression* OH! You know who this kinda reminds me of? The one guy in Enola Holmes--Tewkesberry, I think it was. I dunno why, something about him. George Cubbins (Kariim?) ----------------------- : Not bad, not bad at all. He looks maybe a little young, fingers a little off, but that's a pretty good picture of him. : Yes, all the books. Actually, this one's pretty good too. I think I mentioned him holding a donut, but ah well. : Hmm, he still looks kinda young. And what's he holding in his other hand? It looks sorta like those peanut butter blossom cookies. Other than that, 's pretty good. The hand holding the cookie looks a bit off, though. And the other hand is too, come to think of it. Holly Munro ------------ : Not bad. I kinda imagined her as having her hair down, but pretty good. Good job with the outfit, hands look fine. Maybe slightly too young...? : Ooh, nice. Again, seems pretty accurate. Do they ever say she wears earrings in the book? : Hmmmm....pretty good. Except I'm not sure how the whole educational system thing goes on with agents, I feel like they describe it a bit in the first book....Like, it wasn't really a top priority for Sensitives, was it? Quill Kipps --------------------- : WHAT. How does that even look like what I described?? I---just can't even--- *Stares at drawing in shock* *Bursts out laughing* Phht, maybe that's how Kipps sees himself--- : Aaaaaaaaand to think I thought I couldn't get worse after the first one. This isn't even....I can't.... *Suffers panic attack of pure horror* : Well, it didn't get worse. I suppose this is decent enough. It's still a /sword/ though not a /rapier/... Florence Bonnard ------------------------------- : Not bad...maybe a bit /too/ clean for Flo, and I think AI is having a little trouble comprehending the difference between a river and a stream, but the jacket and hat are pretty good. : Wayyyyyyyy too clean for Flo. Not quite the straw hat I described, either, but it's decent. : Uh. Her hair looks a bit odd, eyes too, but it's kinda a river behind her, so that's good. Good jacket. Still too clean. The Skull ---------------------- : Not bad. Except the skull doesn't have flowers in the jar. But hey, otherwise, it's good. : The--angles don't match up-- Like, the skull is partially out of the jar? But I think it's part of the style...Hm. It looks sorta like a science poster. : Not too bad, not too bad. The book open in front of the skull makes it look kinda like he's reading though XD In conclusion, from this I have learned: - AI is getting smarter than I thought it would - AI still has trouble with hands - AI cannot draw Quill Kipps. At all. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed! If you make any characters using this website I'd love to see them! :D

Very foggy. Dirty clothes. She's smirking. Skull: human skull in a jar. The skull is grinning. The skull is glowing green. The jar is on a desk, and the desk has a lot of papers and science tools laying around. A microscope is in the corner. The main focus of the picture is the skull in the jar. The skull is glowing bright green. The skull is in the jar. ⬆ You may notice I repeat things in the descriptions, that's bc AI keeps ignoring it.
