Tools? Weapons? Bombs? You want it? It's yours, my friend, as long as you sell me enough scraps! the buttons actually do something now, if you're wondering. v1.0 - Built up this shop with my own hands! v1.1 - Found a board to put behind me. I plan on putting my tools here. v1.2 - Currently working on adding functionality to the buttons. This could take a while. I also polished up a lot of things. v1.3 - More polishing and bug fixing, and fixed the sound when text was being displayed v1.4 - Made the x button automatically select "Bye!" v1.5 - Sharpened some of my tools, and added shine to them! That's cool and all, but the big thing is that I don't stare at you excessively anymore! Yaaaaayy! v1.6 - Fixed a major bug that happened when you first go in v1.7 - Recolored according to the NES color palette. Going through this change was definitely scary (not to mention it was a pain in the butt), and I know there will be people who prefer the original, but I think it turned out alright, and gives it kind of an authentic, old school vibe. I might also start working on the shop theme and FINALLY replace the bossa nova placeholder song. 1.8 - Redesigned the buttons to be pixel perfect! The text may look a bit odd, but you can't argue when it lines up perfectly with the backboard :) Original release date: Dec 01, 2023
Thanks to @swhite29s for the text engine: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/766573712/ And his scrap shop idea from one of his loading screen hints here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/700357491/ There is so little room that I can't make everything pixel perfect...kinda. There are technically still some equivalents between the sprites, so I guess I can bend that rule just a little... The Bossa nova theme is a placeholder from scratch's sound library. I am currently working on an original song...er, remix of a song, to have play in this shop.
