- Please read the entire description before applying. - Due February 26th. What is Pixiedust? Pixiedust is an online writing camp similar to swc, jwc, or src. It runs during the month of October and April. Each session has a different theme that the ‘cabins’ are based off of. We do not have co leaders, just leaders. There will be one or two per location, depending on entries. What is the theme for Apr. 24? The theme for the April 2024 session is ‘magic school’ + ‘dark academia’ (think abandoned mansion turned into a haunted school, with witchcraft rampant). The ‘cabin’ (also known as locations, if you were in the previous session) names have not been decided yet. What is 'professor resumes'? Leader applications, just with a name that better fits the theme. How do I apply? Remix this project, and then fill out the questions as needed. Chances of being selected depend on number of applicants, creativity, and answer quality above all else. If the location names aren’t decided, what do I put down for ‘location top choices’? Below is a list of possible location names. Feel free to use any of these or come up with your own. Pixiedust encourages creativity outside the limits of other camps with more members. Any name for a location related to the theme will be considered, and it’s important to keep in mind that the name you come up with might not end up being the name of the location you lead. Every name is supposed to be a location, so classrooms or other rooms you would find in a school are all acceptable. Here are some ideas: - Spells - Astral readings - Dark magic - Herbs and Crystals - Curses - Magic artifacts - Alchemy - Beginner magic - Necromancy Should you be chosen but not like the name of your location, it can be changed. More on this if you are chosen. Note: the number of locations will depend on the number of entries. Every location has a symbol to correspond with it, you can choose one for your location when applying, or one will be chosen later down the road.
