Code animation i feel, is much like; in traditional animation, straight ahead animation. Just like straight ahead, in coding, once you commit to an action you gotta commit to it. Back tracking is such a hassle where you have to go around in so many different sprites change so many different values, its a real pain. on the other hand frame by frame gives you the option to do both either pose to pose or straight ahead. and any sane person would obviously do pose to pose. But that's what i love about code animation right? the limitations it gives. you dont have the same free liberty as you got with frame by frame ~or costume animation you could call it~. the limitation is challenging and overcoming that challenge is fun, and fun is what im all about. but still code animation can get annoying at times and even i (aka the self proclaimed best animator of all time dont question me) lose motivation to work with. This time however things somehow went smooth. problem solving was quicker than i imagined and things came out just as i imagined them (my imagination sucks srry). Code animation is ancient at this point in scratch but i do what i want. i tested frame by frame in my pepzi man vs goke animations and here i am back at animating with code. After almost 3 or 4 years actually. its been a while. but yo dad still got it baby :sunglasses:. this animation took about 4 or 6 hours in total which is still a lot considering it isnt even long _or_ good in that regard. But i still am satisfied with it, i had fun, i wasnt bored or lost motivation to work on it. I couldve finished the fight but its a collab with @kxiokn (aka the renowned best animator of all time (after me ofc)) , this animation was a good warmup to get back into things, maybe ill do more in the future . also sorry for all the jjk memes ive lost my mind after my daddy died .
