Meet Livia, the dog with blue jay wings. But wait! Those feathers don’t look normal…? That’s likely because they’re actually paper fans! Livia is a quiet and reserved individual. She’s somewhat of a people pleaser, although she usually prefers to be alone most of the time. Her worst fear is to be a social outcast, despite never being happy in large crowds. Throughout her character arc she learns to become more comfortable being herself, and stop trying to fake a personality to the rest of the world. She does make a few very good friends, who she’s able to take as much time as she needs to be alone from, as they understand. They don’t make her very anxious, however. She has some pretty bad social anxiety, as you can tell. She loves flying around with birds, as they seem not to fear her very much. She’s never figured out why. She’s a dog, and birds are little feathery snacks to most of her species. She likes playing instruments, and listening to music. She mainly plays the flute. She also plays the guitar and ukelele, since they’re easy for animals with no opposable thumbs Her sense of humor is somewhat nonsensical to most people, as she finds things that don’t make any sense at all funny. Despite having fans for wings, she can fly pretty well. When she gets to higher altitudes, however, she often loses a lot of control. Once she gets over some of her people pleasing tendencies, her worst fear is being chased by something, and then tripping. ——— This is one of my favorite Ocs tbh. The idea has been floating around in my head for about a year, and acting on it was really fun. I’ll design some of her friends, along with some other characters in her story, at some point. It’s a very short plot, however. I’ll post it sometime.
