note: i changed her hair a bit lol (also yes im aware that the title is missing a verse from the song i dont have enough space for it XD) uh bio ig: name: rose (y'all i know it's cliche but i have a t h i n g with roses so bear with me-) gender: female species: so this is gonna take some explanation (of course chuey couldn't stick with the simple answer bahaha) basically rose is a kind of "spirit," if you will, called a /shard./ Shards aren't really alive, but neither are they dead--they can't really be defined in those terms. they're more of a /memory,/ a remnant of someone rather than an actual person. shards are created when someone experiences extreme negative emotions and can't let them go, until eventually the only thing left of them are those emotions. their body, their mind, their personalities are consumed by the emotion until all that's left is a shard. shards have little personality and act like the negative emotion that created them (so for example a rage shard would go around yelling at people or something lol). they can create no new memories (which has its ups and downs) so if you struck up a conversation with one and then left, they would immediately forget about you. as you can probably tell, rose is a grief shard personality: virtually nonexistent backstory: pretty wip but basically she was gonna get married on christmas and then her lover died oops she obsessed so much over his death, unable to bring herself to move on, that she eventually faded and became a grief shard what i plan to do with her: i thought it would be kinda cool to write a sort of redemption arc for her? not that she's a villain but yknow what i mean, like reclaiming her humanity n stuff and learning things like that we can't cling to our past, but neither can we abandon it, and how to find the good things in bad situations. for example turns out her lover was [REDACTED] and he [REDACTED] so it's just as well things turned out like they did :)))) i think thats it btw the red thingies behind her are supposed to be rose petals lol
