So I had a classroom spelling bee. It was hard words, but I went with my instincts. Just today, I got called up to the cafeteria and they gave us this sheet. I have just over a month. To memorize how to spell these. I am not giving up. But.. Popocatepetl?? What?? Are we speaking the same language here?? And how did I go from having an S in spelling back in elementary school to participating in a school spelling bee 3 years later- my brother who's 2 grades above me right now (supposed to be 3 but he failed kindergarten) said these are college level words. I am not even in high school. College. Level. Words. Also I'm helping someone who speaks Spanish and is new with these by having him spell them just cuz- I was bored and next to him and my friend on the bus, okayy??
