This reminds me of a movie theater, i wonder why... it must be the delicious smell of popcorn, this special kind of popcorn is coated with sugar that monsters (especially maws) enjoy quite a lot, it is made with the vegetium plant, which grows delicious vegetables! The second path is called "sugary spiral" Bio:Coated in a sugary glaze, the sugary spiral path is a sweet treat for many monsters, sometimes, a certain popcorn monster likes stuffing these in their pouch instead of their well cooked popcorn, after all, that monsters taste buds are in it's pouch.
