Day 1, Favorite Book: 'Lord of the Fleas'!!!!! Day 2, Snow: They're going to look at the lights around town. Day 3, Ugly Sweater: Sarah may or may not have messed up the customized sweater order size a little bit... Day 4, Unleashed: People genuinely thought he Flat Stanley-ed himself... Day 5, Creative: I think that Sarah knits in her free time. :) Day 6, Walk In The Forest: Both of these guys are a little bit older here. I think that Petey inherited eyesight that deteriorates with age. LP is probably about 12 here, with Petey around 47(??). (Not a big fan of the legs here, but I really like how the shading and background turned out!) Day 7, A Tale of Two Kitties: They won't stop following him. Day 8, Headcanon: Theater kid Petey theater kid Petey theater kid Petey theater kid Pe- *Gets dragged off the stage by security* Day 9, Least Favorite Book: Brawl of the Wild... (It has one of the worst covers and a very... unfortunate chapter, in which a character vomits up the inanimate object villain.) :( Day 10, Dog Man and Cat Kid: Can we please talk about his outfit? This is the dumbest little supervillain costume I have ever seen and I love it. It's drawn differently almost every chapter it's in, losing the cape after only TWO PANELS, and it gets ditched about 3/4 through the book. The weird sleeves(?), the nonsensical helmet, the engraved fake abs in the chestplate, it's a wonder. RIP, Petey supervillain outfit, you will be missed.. Day 11, Favorite Character: ZUZU!!!!!!!! Day 12, Dog Man: The Musical: Heheheheheheheheheheheheheheh... (Thank you Jamie LaVerdiere for bringing Petey to life so well.) Day 13, Lord of the FLEAS: I drew the robot. :) Day 14, Alternate Universe: MY TGWDLM AU!!!!! I drew SO. MANY. SONGS AND CHARACTERS. This thing got me through the entire Mamma Mia soundtrack. The drawings are Petey as Professor Hidgens in 'The Show Stopping Number', Chief as Mister Davidson in 'What Do You Want, Paul?' (my least favorite song), Molly as Alice and LP as Deb in 'Not Your Seed', Sarah as Paul in 'Let It Out', Yolay Caprese as Emma right before 'Cup of Poisoned Coffee', and Zuzu as General McNamera. Day 15, Panel Redraw: A panel from Dog Man and Cat Kid. Day 16, Brawl of the Wild: They are watching the studio burn down. Day 17, Least Favorite Character: Grampa. I would like to use this service run by myself. Day 18, Original Character/Self Insert: This is Amelia (Lia for short). They're an average Jo from western Oregon who moved to Collardale, Ohio for a newspaper cartoonist job fresh out of college. Lia's whole running character gag is that fae keep running into various (sometimes reformed) villains and also are pretty much terrified by the whole town. At the grocery store? There's Flippy the fish. On the bus/at the bus stop? There's a six foot tall anthro cat who escaped prison several times two months ago. At the park? You get the gist. (They/Fae/She) Day 19, For Whom the Ball Rolls: Where do you think he got the furniture? Big Lots??? Day 20, Presents/Gifts: I like to think that Petey's mom's birthday is towards the end of autumn. Day 21, Free Day: Redraw of something I did very sleep deprived in a sketchbook about a month ago. Day 22, Cat Kid Comic Club: I know nothing about these books other than nobody gets along. Day 23, Fetch-22: "Mom! We made you a new friend!" (I don't really like this.) Day 24, Baking: Petey's mom used to bake gingerbread a lot. Day 25, Holiday: See 26. Day 26, Fireplace: I combined 25 and 26 due to time constraints. LP waiting for Santa. Day 27, Grime and Punishment: LET HIM MAKE FRIENDS!!!!! >:( Day 28, Stars: The last prompt I did!!! This has been a really fun challenge, even though I didn't finish. Good practice for committing to a project.
