Spencer Oct 23 Mon 9:05 School Spencer had just gotten to his public speaking class, which he hated so he asked to use the bathroom. When he went into the bathroom he immediately saw the girl in the mirror. She opened her mouth wide like she was screaming or something then suddenly the glass shatters. Spencer was shocked and could see the girl in every broken piece. She was smiling again but not her sad eerie smile, no this was a psychotic maniac smile like she liked scarring me. She had this sense of joy in her and so Spencer asked “What kind of game?” with a stern look in his eyes as he stiffened clearly afraid but not trying to show it. Her smile grew bigger, wider like she liked that question, and the mirror fogged up as though she was about to write something but instead she disappeared again. Just as Spencer was about to walk out of the bathroom, something hits the mirror he turns around quickly almost falling over and when he looks at the mirror there’s a handprint, but the fog has disappeared. Spencer looked at it more closely and realized it was blood red, sticky blood and it was dripping down the mirror. Spencer got up and ran out of the bathroom as fast as he could. He didn’t go back to his public speaking class instead he went to his car and texted Katie. Spencer: Babe I need u to meet me by my car skip class or whatever it’s important Katie: Right now? Spencer: Yes it’s important Katie: Ok I’ll be there in a min Spencer: Ok Spencer puts his phone away and taps the steering wheel to calm his nerves but it’s not working. A few minutes later Katie comes outside and opens the passenger door. “Are you ok? What’s wrong? What’s so important?” Katie asks in a rush concerned expression across her face. “It was the girl again I saw her. I asked her about the game and she disappeared like she did with Brandon and Jessica but then I heard something hit the mirror and when I turned around to look it wasn’t something it was a handprint, but it wasn’t just like she put her hand on the mirror. It was a bloody handprint, and so I ran out of there.” Katie was silent for a few seconds before asking, “Are you sure it was blood?” “Yes, I’m sure of what I saw.” Spencer replies. “Ok then we have to tell the others…" Katie says in disbelief that this is real, that this is really happening.
Chapter 3 Jessica Oct 23 Mon 12:05 pm School courtyard Jessica was heading over to there usual lunch table where they always meet up, when she realized she was the first one there which never happens so she pulled out her phone and texted Katie Jessica: Hey where r u guys? Katie: Spencer and I r heading over there now we were talking abt smt that we need to tell u guys. Jessica: Ok. Do u know where Brandon is? Katie: He said he’ll be a little late, he has somewhere to be but he didn’t say anything more. Jessica: Ok well I’m at the table I’ll wait for you guys. Kaite: K Jessica puts her phone back in her all black purse with a little metal snap on the front to keep it closed and sits at the table. A few minutes later she sees Spencer and Katie walking up to her holding hands and looking like the ever so perfect couple that they are. Except for one thing that is, see, Jessica knew a secret that if she ever told anyone it would ruin Spencer and Katie’s relationship forever. “Where’s Brandon?” Spencer asks as he and Katie sit down to eat. “He’s going to be a little late. He said he has somewhere to be but he didn’t specify where.” Jessica replies flatly. ”Oh ok.” Spencer replies with a mouthful of food. “So what was it you wanted to tell Brandon and me?” Jessica asks, and just as she said that Spencer's face filled with worry and fear as if he had just seen a ghost which under the circumstances was quite likely. “Oh it’s about HER isn’t it?” Jessica says, emphasizing her in the sentence. Spencer nodded his head, swallowing the mouthful of food he had in his mouth and said, “Yeah it was the creepiest thing yet.” He replies, his gray blue eyes filled with fear. Which is rare, he’s hardly ever afraid and shows it even less. Just as Jessica was about to ask him what happened Brandon comes sulking over. “Hey, looks like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed.” Spencer says jokingly. “Quite literally. I was up and down all night, I couldn’t stop thinking about the girl and that smile and….” He trails off seeing Spencer’s fear struck face. “What. what is it?” Brandon asks, confused. “I have an update about her.” Spencer says reluctantly. “What happened?” Brandon asks. Spencer takes a deep breath, probably calming his nerves. “So I was in public speaking, but like you all know I hate that class so I went to the bathroom planning on just skipping, and as soon as I walked in the girl was in the mirror she opened her mouth like she was screaming or something then suddenly the glass shatters looking like a giant spider web. After I had gotten over my shock, I asked her about the game and she just disappeared or so I thought. When I went to leave there was a loud sound like something had hit the mirror but when I looked the mirror wasn’t shattered anymore and there was a handprint but not just like from the oils on your hands, you know, it was blood, red blood dripping down the mirror.”Spencer finishes his story and all Jessica keeps thinking over and over in her head is.... "WHAT THE F^K, WHAT THE F^K, WHAT THE F^K!" Her face turned a ghostly pale and her eyes looked full of fear. "Guys we need to set her free or release her soul or something." Jessica says, her voice cracking. "What are we supposed to do about it, she won't tell us what kind of game or what to do." Katie says helplessly, still holding Spencer's hand, which for whatever reason agitates Jessica a bit as looks over at Brandon sitting next to her wishing to herself they were doing the same. The bell rings pushing that thought away though. "Let's meet up at my house after school." Brandon says. Jessica and Spencer agree to meeting up but Katie says, "Can't, it's my little sisters birthday and I promised my parents I'd be there." Katie's little sister past four years ago from cancer, but her parents like to go to her grave and throw her a birthday party every year.
