ranking 'ORANGE BLOOD' tracks ❕ ───────── 1. still monster — jungwon low register, who else cheered? when i heard the orange blood album preview and this track came on, i legitimately ascended into heaven because yang jungwon? i wanted that part to be the chorus so bad, but this song is absolutely amazing nevertheless. one of my fav enhypen songs, they never disappoint (this is why you stan them) 2. sweet venom — sweet, hee hee, hee hee hee hee, sweet venom. heeseung i love you so freaking bad, hee ate this song up! i mean, the outfit he wore in the mv (even tho the mv was boring as hell honestly)?!!? this song is just really good, i like how it progresses and i love ni-ki dance break! taking up the title of 4th gen dance prodigy once again. the pre-chorus is absolutely angelic, 7yearz's high notes were so good. 3. orange flower (you complete me) — ATE. when i first heard this song in the orange blood concept trailer (but i didn't know that it'd be a b-side on the album), i had to clean my ears and repeat it so many times bc it was so great. i feel like it could have more to it, but it's still a slayful song and i love it. so cheerful, it gives polaroid love and tfw (that feeling when) vibes! i was far i was far i was falling so i'm yours right now color my world i love it when jake starts the song 4. blind — now, wait a minute, wait a minute, give, give me your love to me :heart_eyes: it's a nice song, but i wouldn't listen to it that often, bc it's not exactly my vibe. it would've been in last place but the bridge made it so much better. THAT BRIDGE omg, riki ate that sh uppppp 4. mortal — this is last but overall, it's better than blind. i'm sorry blind, i just don't get you. was it sunjake singing the chorus?? but whoever did and jake, oh my god it's LIFE-CHANGING. can we talk about how the intro is the longest track on the album? it still gets me, because why. anygays i love enhypen's intros/outros :sob: foreshadow, fate, and mortal did not get the treatment they deserved. the "carpe diem, carpe diem" part makes me wipe tears ───────── now, i know that i didn't include sweet venom (english ver.) but that was the best english ver. of a kpop song i have ever heard, no joke. but because it's an english ver., i felt bad if i put other tracks lower. though sunghoon didn't get many lines (no lines at all, in fact, we fkcing hate you hybe), he DEVOURED that "i would give up heaven if i had to" like i worship that part. to conclude... enhypen ate up this comeback (as they always do). please give their album 'ORANGE BLOOD' a listen if you haven't already, i promise you won't be disappointed. ───────── credits . .❔ ★ thumbnail: tumblr
