Press space to read here<< Or read here>> The train soon made its stop near Hogwarts. Students immediately got off their train and made it to their year group's transport. As Bella was in her second year, they had carriages ready for them. Most of the carriages had left when they got there. The only carriage left was Draco's or some Slytherin girls. Daphne begged to go with Draco, so Bella reluctantly agreed. The boys went on the other carriage. They hopped on the carriage and sat down. There were two girls Bella recognized but had never been introduced to. Draco's friends when silent as they got on but Daphne, Eudoria, Jenny, Bella, and Harriet smiled. One of the girls was sitting and watching the group carefully. To break the silence Bella asked "What are they?" she said pointing at the horse-looking animals pulling the carriage. The other girl was next to Draco, she looked up at Bella, confused. "thestrals" she said simply. The people in the carriage looked up when they heard. "You only see them when you have seen someone pass away," said the observing girl, holding out her hand "I see them too, your not the only one, I'm Olive, Diggory by the way." Bella shook her hand "I'm Bella" she said, still a bit disorientated. "you've watched someone pass away?" asked the other girl, which Bella later learned was called Skylar. Bella shrugged, confused. Draco sniggered quietly and Daphne elbowed him in the stomach. Just as she did this they made it to the Hogwarts gates and got off their carriages and onto the school grounds. She soon forgot about the thestrals and was excited to be back in Hogwarts again.
